Going Outta Town

Brandon's Birthday was a great hit with everyone. All of the kids especially little man had fun. They played on his bouncer toy and in the pool and we were outside most of the day. The only time we came in the house was to have cake. He got so many cool toys and stuff. It's not very often he gets to play with all his friends at the same time so it was pretty good for him. He had so much fun playing and ripping the wrapping paper off his presents.
There was only one thing that went wrong the whole day but it was fixed before his party even started. I went to pick up his cake in the morning and it looked good on the store and when I got it home Wes noticed that they spelled his name wrong. I mean really wrong. They gave him a whole new name. So I called the Bakery to see if I brought it back if they would fix it for me and they said no. I was so mad when I got off the phone, I asked Wes what to do and called my mom to see if she had any ideas and she told me that considering I paid $35 for the cake that I should take it back to the store and ask for the manager. So I did and he had it fixed for me. I was glad about that, I mean seriously I paid $35 for his birthday cake, the least they could have done was spell his name right?!?!?!
So Tommorrow I will be leaving town for a week or two. I haven't decided how long I will be gone but this will probaly be my last blog until I get back. Brandon and I will be going down south to see my family and a few friends. I don't know how well our visit is going to be, as my mom and I fight like cats and dogs if we are together for too long. Oh well, at least I am taking my car down this time so if we get into it and fight I can leave when ever. But hopefully everthing goes good.
But that's all I have to say for now I have a lot to do today so I don't want to be on here too long. Have a good week everyone!!!!

Another Project Down

Well we usually just relaz on Sunday's and not do a whole lot, but today was an exception. Wes wanted to go and work on the fence and see how much we could get done. We actually got all of it done except the painting part of it all. When we first started we thought it was going to be much harder to take the fence posts out but it was surprisingly easy considering.
Mander came over and helped take the fence in the front down. That was the hardest part. The posts were kind of easy like the ones from the back but the boards were nailed on with abnormally long nails, so we decided we were going to take it apart in sections instead of board by board. I think the best part for Mander was when we were doing the last section. We thought that it might be easier if we just sawed it off and that idea wasn't as easy as it sounded so Mander put Baby Burtha, (As Wes would call his 5lb sledge hammer) to work. So she hit the board a couple times and stopped for a break and we were standing there talking and I decided to lean on the corner she had just hit and as my luck would have it the top section of that part fell. Now before you laugh to hard at the thought of me landing on my face being caught by the stupid fence, I did however not so gracefully catch myself before that happend.
Surprisingly enough there were only two minor injuries all day, now if you know me and Mander, this is a very good thing, you put the two of us on the same project at more than one point in time one or both of us are usually bleeding. We know what we are doing and all but combined we are, well for lack of better words, KLUMSY!!! So anyway our two minor issues were (in the order they happend) 1) Mander scraped her toe on on of the boards when we were moving it out of the way. and 2) Little man was trying to pick up the measuring tape and he scratched his hand on a nail that was sticking out of a board, but after we cleaned it all up and what not everything was all good and he was acting like it never happend.
But that is all I can think of to say at the moment, so I'll talk to you guys later!!

One Week

Well my little mans birthday is in exactly a week. It doesnt seem like it has been two years since I had him. Time has just been flying by, or at least it seems like that. It has also been just over a year since we bought our place. We signed the papers on July 22 of last year.

I got a call from my aunty Wendy a few days ago. They went to the water park for Brendans birthday, and she went to grab Quinn, ( aunty Carries son) and when she went to go move him from by the slide and she slipped and fell. She dropped him and everything. That day she had a little cramping. The next day it was getting worse so she went into the hospital, and by that night she had had a miscarriage. It is so sad because she has wanted to have another baby since Brendan was born and he just turned 9 i think....(9 or 10) I honestly dont remember how old he is. I just buy a card that doesnt have an age on it and a gift. Kind of bad of me I know but at least I think if them right.....lol

My brother and his girlfriend are comming up here for Brandon's birthday next week. It should be fun. I haven't seen my niece in a long time. She must be getting so big. My sister was supposed to come up too but as far as I know she can't afford to drive her truck all the way up here. That sucks but what can you do right? The only person I couldn't get a hold of to come to Brandon's Birthday was Donna. Which really sucks, but I doubt that they could have made it anyways. As far as I know her and the kids are still in BC. A friend of mine told me that she plans on coming up here next month. At least thats what I think he said. I could be wrong, maybe she is coming this month. But I am sure she will stop by and see us. At least I hope she will.

We should be getting the fence done some time in the next week or so. I am just waiting for all of the utilities to come and finish thier surveying so we can put the fence posts in. So far everyone has done thier thing except for the gas and power companies, but I think they said they are coming Monday or Tuesday. Once that is all done all we have to do is go and get the post holders and pound them in and everything should go good from there. Hopefuly it doesnt take us long. We dont really have that much to do with it I think the hardest part will be taking the old fence post out from the front yard. But I guess we'll see what happens right.

But that's all I have to say for the time being. Talk to you guys later!! ;)

Eventful

Ok it has been so long since my last post I am sure some of you have been wondering if I fell off the face of the planet. I honestly wish I could say I have been too busy to post but the last few days I never really did that much, well I did but I didn't know what I mean??? Well now, where do I start? Thursday we got some stuff we needed to do some of the electrical stuff in the house. With any luck I will still have a house when they are done...lol. No I'm just kidding. I'm sure everything will be fine If they didn't know what they were doing they wouldnt be doing it right?
Well Mander and I finally got the bathroom all put back together a few days ago and my new counter tops in. All we have left to do now is paint the bathroom and toy room, (By the way Mander I picked up some paint samples so we can decided on colors), and then we have to move the fence and paint that, and then the deck. Ok so now that I think about it that still does seem like a lot of work....lol. But it will all be worth it when its done.
Oh in Other news.....Little Man ran away. and I'm not talking about a little incedent. One minute he was in my back yard and the next we couldnt find him anywhere!!!! We looked everywhere, under the shed, in all rooms, under beds, EVERYWHERE. Wes went looking around for him I was freaking out I called Mander and another person I know over here and we looked everywhere again. I called the cops after we were sure he wasnt hiding somewhere, or at the neighbors. The person who answered was trying to calm me down so he could understand me and when I finally got my point across he told me if you can tell me what he is wearing we can tell you if its him, and I was just like "HOW MANY 2 YEAR OLDS DO YOU HAVE THERE?!??!?!" And once again he had to calm me down. Needless to say he was there and fine. They brought him home and I was never so happy to see him in my whole life. The worst posaibilites kept running through my mind, I never want to have to go through anything like that again. I just kept thinking what if someone took him? and what if he got hit but a car? you just never know these days. needless to say after got him home and cleaned up and into bed we went out side to try and figure out how he got out. I went outside to check on him and I needed to get a drink so I came in the house and had a glass of juice and when I went back outside he was gone. So needless to say my eyes are all puffy and what not today from crying so much last night. I'm just glad he was found by the cops and was ok. So we are going to have to bring him in the house when ever we want something from in here from now on.
But that is my eventful weekend. Talk to you guys later.
