Quick Update

Well another week has come and gone. I finally finished my Simply Accounting crap. I am glad that is over and done with. Now all I have to do is reading and tests. I have 2 books to read and 4 tests to do. I'm not sure how good I am going to do on them. I am not good at the reading and then doing tests part of the whole thing. I learn better when I have examples to work through and then do a final assignment. So if any of you have any ideas how I can do better at this I would appreciate your input. But I will write more later on this after noon. I have to go and cook little man his eggs.
Ok so I am back a few days later.....oops...lol. But anyways as i said everything is going good. I seen the Lake House a couple weeks ago. I thought it was alright. I thought it was awesome to see Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves together on screen again.
I can hardly wait until The Davinci Code comes out. I was going to go and see it in theater, we were down south at the time but we couldn't go and see it because that was when I had to go to the hospital. I was disapointed because there were a couple movies I wanted to see when we were down there but we never got to see any of them.
I was looking on the www.newthisweek.ca and I seen that The Inconvient Truth comes out this month too. I also want to see that one. There are a few good movies coming out this month.

Little man is talking more and more these days. He has also hit that very frusterating stage of not listening most of the time. I honestly don't know how many times a day I have to tell him to stop playing in the cat litter. Yesterday he actually dumped it out all over my kitchen floor. I was so mad. Needless to say he had a time out after that. Then when he got up he started playing in it again. Its frusterating, but what can you do right? It's not like I can sell him on E-bay . LOL just joking. I could never do that. As much as he frusterates me somedays, he makes up for it when he is cuddly and what not.

But I have a lot to do tonight. Talk to you guys later. Don't forget......I would like some feed back on how to study the reading before my tests so I don't flunk out. I am seriously not good at that at all.

Pictures As Promised

Ok so here are a few pictures from when we went on vacation. There are a few more I want to put on here but I am going to have to rotate and crop them. Sorry it took me so long to put these ones on here but I have been busy with homework and all that fun stuff. I will get the other ones rotated and what not as soon as I can. In the mean time here ya go guys!!!

1) Brandon on the podeums at the Canadian Olympic Park.

2) weird looking creature at the zoo. I cant remember what it is but I took the picture because it looked neat, he looked so relaxed and at home....lol

3) Dinasour from the dinasour park.....one of Brandon's favorite parts of the zoo.

4) wolf. I took this one because I LOVE wolves. He looked so beautiful. the last time we went I never got to see any wolves so for me that was the best part.

5) This is a picture of a bobsled in the Olympic museum. I don't know if any of you have seen the movie "Cool Runnings" about a Jamacian Bob sled team that is determined to compete in the Olympics and a coach takes them under his wing and they make it into the Olympics. Any way the Bob Sled is the one they actually used in the movie.

6)Little man playing in the back on my brothers tracker with his work stuff.

7)Little man climbing the rope thingy at the playground at the zoo.

8) Wes and Brandon walking around the zoo.

Hope you guys enjoy them...

I'm Back!!!!!!!!!

Well I am back from my holidays and needless to say everything went good. When we were down in Calgary we went to the zoo and the Canada Olympic Park. Both places were really great. I had lots of fun. I also got to meet Wes's aunt and uncel. They were both really nice and very friendly. I thought that it was going to be much worse than it actually was. We spent four days down in there and visited a few different places and actually had a real vacation. Usually we just go down to my parents place and hang out around that general area, so it was nice to be able to get out and go somewhere and stay in a hotel, and go to touristy places and be in a town that I have never actually got to see before. I mean sure I went to the Calgary Zoo with my dad but we only had an hour to spend there and it is a pretty big zoo so we never got to see anything there and the animals we did see were sleeping, so this time was much better and Little Man had so much fun. He was just facinated with all the animals.
We got lost pretty much everyday we were down there. The streets down there are so confusing. There are only a few that actually go straight through the city and the ones that we wanted to be on on say the south side didnt go all the way through to the south side from the north side. So needless to say we needed a map to get anywhere in that place. lol. And then the map the hotel gave us to get to the zoo didnt even have all the roads on it. we ended up on 9th ave or something like that and Wes was like "ok where do we go now?" and I looked at the map they gave us and the stupid road wasn't on the map. So needless to say it took us a while to get to the zoo, but we still had lots of time to wander around and check it out.
When we got back to my parents place everything went surprisingly ok. The last thursday we were down there we went to West Edmonton Mall. All the attractions were free so we took Brandon to Galaxy Land. He had lots of fun. There is this place in there that is for younger kids only and he had fun on the slides and with all the balls. Wes and my brother in-law played mini-golf and they had an alright time, until my sister freaked out on her husband because she wanted to leave and they weren't done their game yet. But they stayed and finished. I'm just glad that Wes got to do something fun like that for himself.
Thanksgiving was ok as well. Dinner was great. I haven't been home for Thanksgiving in 3 years so it was nice to be there for that. After dinner we had a few drinks, and visited.
But that's all for now I have a lot to do now that I am home again. And I should really get it all started. When I have some more extra time I will post some pictures for you guys. By the way....Mander thanks for taking care of the dog and house when we were gone.
