Another Project Down

Well we usually just relaz on Sunday's and not do a whole lot, but today was an exception. Wes wanted to go and work on the fence and see how much we could get done. We actually got all of it done except the painting part of it all. When we first started we thought it was going to be much harder to take the fence posts out but it was surprisingly easy considering.
Mander came over and helped take the fence in the front down. That was the hardest part. The posts were kind of easy like the ones from the back but the boards were nailed on with abnormally long nails, so we decided we were going to take it apart in sections instead of board by board. I think the best part for Mander was when we were doing the last section. We thought that it might be easier if we just sawed it off and that idea wasn't as easy as it sounded so Mander put Baby Burtha, (As Wes would call his 5lb sledge hammer) to work. So she hit the board a couple times and stopped for a break and we were standing there talking and I decided to lean on the corner she had just hit and as my luck would have it the top section of that part fell. Now before you laugh to hard at the thought of me landing on my face being caught by the stupid fence, I did however not so gracefully catch myself before that happend.
Surprisingly enough there were only two minor injuries all day, now if you know me and Mander, this is a very good thing, you put the two of us on the same project at more than one point in time one or both of us are usually bleeding. We know what we are doing and all but combined we are, well for lack of better words, KLUMSY!!! So anyway our two minor issues were (in the order they happend) 1) Mander scraped her toe on on of the boards when we were moving it out of the way. and 2) Little man was trying to pick up the measuring tape and he scratched his hand on a nail that was sticking out of a board, but after we cleaned it all up and what not everything was all good and he was acting like it never happend.
But that is all I can think of to say at the moment, so I'll talk to you guys later!!

Hey I know what it's like to be accident-prone. Sounds like you got a lot done though. And considering the minor injuries it turned out well for all. Good luck with the rest though.

I guess your Summer's project is almost done. Congratulations and best of luck with the rest of it.
